Wild Rice Stuffed Cabbage

There so many pale, freckly Americans who, like me, are of German-Irish descent. Perhaps food is the reason this combination is so common; I think our German and Irish ancestors got together and began populating America after meeting in the cabbage and potato section of the grocery store.

Here is a nice hearty stuffed cabbage for St. Patrick's Day. Serve it with potatoes and a pint, if you like.
