Still looking for a hearty alternative to turkey? I've posted a recipe for Chickpea Pot Pie over at Maine Food & Lifestyle. Visit me there (and get a load of that gluten-free crust)!
I just realized after your comment on PPK that I had messed up the directions. I've corrected the amount of Earth Balance in both the ingredients & the directions.
That looks divine, and I'm relieved and happy for you that you've found a great gf crust! Your photos are so amazing. Good thing my excessive drooling hasn't shorted out my keyboard yet! If your blog ever gets a scratch-n-sniff gadget, though, I'm in trouble! ;-)~
(Btw, ever since you posted about your wooden lemon reamer, I'm seeing them everywhere!)
Pot Pies are surprisingly easy to make! I made them a while back, and froze half the batch and they were just perfect when reheating (but you have to have the time to reheat in the oven, because if you do them in aluminum pans you can't reheat in the microwave) KUDOS!
yay i'm so happy you figured out your gf crust! i know how frustrated you were!
ReplyDeleteWow--impressive crust!
